The Junkluggers of the Lower Hudson Valley, along with our amazing charity partners, is proud to say we're doing something to make our world more sustainable. The Junkluggers of the Lower Hudson Valley is honored to partner with a network of charities in our community to serve our number one goal- to keep useful items out of landfills.

Our mission is to enhance lives, our communities, and the environment by donating, repurposing, recycling, and supporting local charities. Not only are your items going to a great cause, but you are also benefiting in the form of a tax-deductible receipt for items we are able to donate on your behalf. Charity Partners:

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity partners with people in your community, and all over the world, to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With your support, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Through our Strategic Plan, Habitat for Humanity will serve more people than ever before through decent and affordable housing.
Monroe Community United Methodist Church
United Methodists continue to heed the lessons John Wesley taught his followers: to live lovingly and justly as servants of Christ by healing the sick, feeding the hungry, caring for the stranger, freeing the oppressed; being a compassionate presence, and working to develop social structures that are consistent with the gospel. The church also has always been deeply committed to disaster relief and advocacy efforts.
People for People
People For People is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization committed to improving lives and strengthening communities throughout eastern Washington since 1965. We provide employment and training services, special needs transportation, brokered Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), 2-1-1 information and referrals, and senior nutrition. We value enriching, empowering, and improving lives; providing services that strengthen the fabric of our communities; building and supporting collaborative human service networks; and utilizing a diverse and talented workforce.
Round 2 Resources
Round 2 Resources
Similar to The Junkluggers, this non-profit organization strives to protect the environment. Round 2 Resources helps prevent usable materials from going to landfills by accepting all donations and redistributing them back to people and organizations in need right here in our community. When R2R receives donations, they are matched up against the Community Wish Lists. Once a match is made, the items are redistributed back into the community to the clients or organizations that request the items. Serving as a resource to other organizations and giving them the ability to help each other gives R2R the capability to help every type of charitable organization without discrimination. Round 2 Resources is not fighting to champion one cause - it is fighting for the world!
